Three layers for a clear decision
A model generates and processes content. An app organizes interaction with it. An integration connects that work to other systems. The same business objective in a proposal process can therefore be achieved through several routes. Define the required data and reviewable result first, then choose the interface.
Choose a recurring bottleneck
A suitable first task has available inputs, a clear output and a person who can judge quality. Examples include a briefing from approved sources or a proposal draft with fixed pricing rules. AI does not automatically resolve unclear responsibilities. Document the existing manual process before the pilot.
Evaluate Claude alongside alternatives
lol.marketing compares suitable systems on the same task. The result should show achievable quality, remaining rework and required data flows. If an existing tool or a simple rule solves the process better, that is also a useful outcome. The AI system check helps assess the bottleneck before a larger investment.
Unified work with distinct product decisions
Chat and Cowork are being combined in one interface from September 2026. Model choice, Claude Code and API integration still involve different decisions. Record the account, actual interface, execution location and required access when implementing a workflow. A new menu label does not determine whether a task can run without the desktop or access a particular business system.
Keep it verifiable
